SAMi HUB seeks student leaders with a strong background or interest in community development. Bring SAMi HUB to their campus and recieve $1,000. Email us at admin@samiglobal.org for more details. SAMi HUB is a campus community club where students of Mizrahi and Sephardi descent can find like-minded peers who share in their culture and practice and offer them opportunities that are sensitive and considerate of their unique identities. With SAMi HUB support, student leaders will contribute to their college campuses and will create a central Hub for the Sephardi and Mizrahi student life on campus. Did you know that you can do Sephardi and Mizrahi programs every month on your campus and not just once a year? To celebrate Mizrahi and Sephardi Jewish heritage, SAMi offering a mini-grant to support college students in hosting Sephardi and Mizrahi Heritage programs. YOU have an opportunity to celebrate, educate, and cater to these programs on your campus. All you need is to be eager to learn and willing to educate others! Bring us all your creative and fun ideas so that we can make those visions possible! Here are just a few of the possibilities of the program:

SAMi LIVE
SAMi LIVE (Leadership, Innovation, Venture, & Entrepreneurship) is a semester-long program that enables Sephardi American Mizrahi Jewish students to hone in their entrepreneurial mindset, gain leadership skills that will get them hired after college, explore their common history and Jewish identity, and understand the importance of Jewish texts through the lens of philanthropy and innovation.

Join us for our Annual SAMi National Conference! Bringing together Sephardi and Mizrahi college students, nationwide, for a Shabbat of connecting, learning, and exploring. At this annual gathering, you'll gain entrepreneurial skills, connect with like-minded peers from universities nationwide, develop your individual leadership styles, and build your professional network.

SAMi Identity - Am I Sephardi or Mizrahi?
This semester-long program is a historical, religious, and sociological examination of the current trends affecting first-generation Sephardi and Mizrahi Jews in America. This program is for students who are curious about their family history, what unites the various Sephardi communities, and why Jews from all over the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia have identified as Sephardi Jews.

SAMi Bridge
SAMi BRIDGE - Is a Jewish and Muslim coalition building initiative. The cultural similarities between Sephardi, Mizrahi, and Muslim communities is a strong stepping stone toward bridging the gap between these college communities. This is the reason why Israeli NSA Meir Ben-Shabbat delivered remarks at Abu Dhabi in Arabic and not in English, or the reason why Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat antisemitism is Iraqi Born Elan S. Carr, who is fluent in Arabic. This program will bring Muslim and Jewish students together on campuses to build mutual respect toward one another and foster a long lasting relationship. This leadership program is open to Jewish and Muslim students.

SAMi LENS
SAMi LENS - Is an initiative that brings to light the history of Israel through a Sephardi and Mizrahi lens. This is a semester-long cohort experience that educates Jewish students on the Mizrahi narrative of Israel beyond the European and Westernized narratives.
